Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.”

Lifelong Identity Architect and philanthropist, Jared Angaza holds a space for evocative conversations about culture, spirituality, and what it means to live fully alive. Who are we and why are we here? How do we integrate new and ancient wisdom and ensure that our lives reflect our values and beliefs? What does it mean to live authentically?

Over 20 years of activism, international brand development, and ardent studies of human behavior and ancestral wisdom, Jared has realized that the keys to the vitality of humanity and our planet are abundantly present within the ways of the mystics and indigenous cultures that have come before us.

The term Noetic refers to a deep, inner knowing and innate wisdom to see and understand our universal consciousness. Jared and his guests explore concepts such as sacred activism, mindfulness, third way thinking, indigenous wisdom, mysticism, Taoism, and the importance of creativity and wonder in our lives. If we want to change the world, we have to change the way we see it.

WILLIAM JAMES

William James was an American philosopher and psychologist, and the first educator to offer a psychology course in the United States. James was a leading thinker of the late nineteenth century, one of the most influential U.S. philosophers, and has been labeled the "Father of American psychology". When describing the nature of mystical experiences, he references the "noetic" concept and describes it in the following way.

Noetic Quality

Although so similar to states of feeling, mystical states seem to those who experience them to be also states of knowledge. They are states of insight into depths of truth unplumbed by the discursive intellect. They are illuminations, revelations, full of significance and importance, all inarticulate though they remain; and as a rule, they carry with them a curious sense of authority for aftertime.

an environmental revolution...

In my April 15th, 2019 interview with Joshua Spodek, we managed to encapsulate the essence of his message about the relationship between our values and our environmental impact. Joshua says, "the environmental revolution begins with joy". I bet you didn't see that one coming...

I hope you'll listen to this episode. It has an important and liberating message for us all. Living by our values doesn't feel like suffering, it brings you joy. And Joshua has a brilliant method for helping us understand just how easy and enjoyable it can be.
