HIGHLIGHTS
- Deepak is creating a âghost villageâ of life lessons of India.
- He has two goals: 1) Create innate value in the villagers themselves. 2) to bring some sort of light and awareness of the threats involved with migration. The idea is to bridge the gap between the global and local issues.
- If we trace back to our indigenous roots,
- Imagination coupled with nostalgia is a great recipe for creativity.
- I always carry a few things with me. 1) A trick to amuse children, 2) A meaningful experience to share with my peers. 3) A good, thoughtful question to ask the aged. That has proven to be a great recipe for starting a conversation anywhere I go.
- I am a human being and nothing can be alien to me.
- My talent is not my gift, itâs my responsibility.
- I do not wish to be a star, but rather a constellation.
- Also, potatoes have to be on my tombstoneâŚI absolutely love potatoes.
- Grief doesnât change you, it reveals you.
- He likes to ask the open-ended question, âWhat happened to you?â
- Try to relate to everyone with a sense of humor.
- If empathy isnât something you were born with, perhaps you could try and learn it.
- When you understand that âthis too shall passâ, you can always embrace the next thing.
